Shedd Aquarium

Now Open! This touchable seahorse model has been greeting visitors to Shedd Aquarium in Chicago for years. As they touch each feature, visitors hear a voice announce the name of the part they touched. Touching the same part again reveals more information about the function of the part that was touched. This simple, multisensory approach makes the exhibit accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
