Fenton Bikeway

Recent innovations in streetscape design have created problems for visually impaired pedestrians. As traffic engineers work to incorporate dedicated bike lanes, bus stops on the median strip, and roundabouts replacing signalized intersections, they struggle to explain to blind pedestrians what they have in mind. Touch Graphics specializes in creating tactile illustrations that explain these complicated intersections in a universally accessible format. These materials are often used in public hearings where visually impaired pedestrians are asked to opine about new designs before they are implemented.
