Touch Graphics Installs Two New Talking Map Units at Shedd Aquarium!

On May 10th, Steve Landau of Touch Graphics installed two new talking tactile map units at Shedd Aquarium. These map units add to the great access at the Shedd Aquarium including our Talking Seahorse and Talking Penguin 3d touch models! Check out more information and photos on the talking map here.

Talking Tactile Exhibit Panel Video

Watch a video narrated by San Diego Museum of Art curator John Marciari. Sanchez Cotan ‘ still life Quince, Cabbage, Melon and Cucumber was re-interpreted by Touch Graphics with help from tactile artist Ann Cunningham in audio-tactile bas relief. This painting speaks when touched and allows all visitors a rich understanding of the work.
