T3 Tactile Tablet is a large Android touch screen that has been modified to accept tactile graphic overlays using pin registration to ensure consistent alignment of the tactile image with sensitized zones of the touchscreen below. As each overlay is placed on the device, its QR code is scanned by the Tablet’s built-in camera bounced off a small mirror placed a few inches above. This allows the T3 app to instantly recognize every overlay sheet as it is placed, and load necessary data from the T3 Cloud Server. Users may explore the tactile diagram, map, or other illustration with both hands in silence. Whenever people using the system want to know about any feature, they just press down on it with one finger for a spoken description. Touch Graphics has created a growing library of content for the T3 Tactile Tablet.
